The trees, flowers, and animals know not of ugliness or beauty; they simply are.....
.....in harmony with the eternal Tao, devoid of judgment.
~Wayne Dryer
The Tao Te Ching, Verse 2: "When people see things as beautiful, ugliness is created. When people see things as good, evil is created."
Our whole world is a complexity of opposites: we know of peace, for we know of war; we know what ignorance is because of the presence of education.
Like nature, by simply being the self we are, we let our divine light shine through. The good within us illuminates our way as we navigate the evil of the world of men. Yet, we quietly contemplate our own lives and experience the good the Tao has to offer. Becoming aware of evil does not it must taint us--keep on simply being, rather than succumbing to the complexity of evil. Live the simplicity which is found in harmony with the eternal Tao. Carpe diem, seizing the day is never a bad thing--live the moments you have been granted. Make each day a day you let the good within you illuminate the darkness as you let your state of happiness be in the moment.
